The <\/span>MinePlan<\/span> team has been<\/span> listening <\/span>and working hard to incorporate <\/span>valuable client feedback<\/span>, <\/span>and <\/span>we\u2019re<\/span> excited to share the resulting improvements with you! <\/span>Keep reading to learn about all\u00a0the<\/span> new<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>features and enhancements you can expect from the third <\/span>MinePlan<\/span> release of 2023. <\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Introducing<\/span> MinePlan<\/span> Sigma<\/span> v2.0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Performance\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Geostatistical analysis <\/span>can now handle<\/span> even the largest of drillhole datasets<\/span> in <\/span>MinePlan<\/span> Sigma<\/span>. <\/span>Variograms now compute over 100x faster<\/span>, <\/span>dataset size limits have been<\/span> eliminated<\/span>, and performance with <\/span>drilling <\/span>data <\/span>from Drillhole Manager <\/span>has been <\/span>greatly improved<\/span> throughout <\/span>the entire <\/span>Sigma<\/span> solution<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dynamic <\/span>Variogram <\/span>Interpretation<\/span><\/span><\/strong>

\nAnalysing variograms can be a difficult task, as it is visually interpretive and somewhat subjective. Yet it can have a big impact of the accuracy of resource estimation, and as such it is critical to obtain the best variographic fit possible. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

MinePlan Sigma has some new and powerful enhancements to facilitate this interpretive process, including the added visualization of variogram maps and variogram ellipsoids in the 3D viewer. Users can now dynamically visualize and adjust their variogram orientations and magnitudes relative to their drillhole and other geological data in the 3D viewer.<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> new Multi Lag Distance option is a<\/span>nother key enhancement to <\/span>facilitate<\/span> rapid <\/span>variogram interpretation<\/span>. Users can now precompute <\/span>up to 100 variograms at different lag distances<\/span>, and <\/span>easily scroll through them to<\/span> compare<\/span> and<\/span> select the <\/span>optimal<\/span> variogram for fitting.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
