Sustainability is nothing new in terms of Hexagon\u2019s commitment to improving the state of the world, and we are proud to announce that Hexagon\u2019s Mining division has received the EcoVadis Gold Sustainability Rating, putting us in the top third percentile of companies assessed. The Sustainability Scorecard that EcoVadis uses recognizes performance across 21 indicators in four themes: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. We were assessed under the \u201cmanufacturers of computers and peripheral equipment\u201d category, and we surpassed industry averages in every measured category by providing evidence of our policies, processes, and progress against key ESG metrics. <\/span><\/p>\n

We are thrilled to have our efforts acknowledged and will continue to move initiatives forward for our business, the industry, and the planet,\u201d said Louise Daw, Senior Director, ESG. <\/span><\/p>\n

We are always working toward a brighter future for our planet, and the Gold sustainability rating we received from EcoVadis demonstrates to our customers, employees, and the communities we are involved with that we are dedicated to continued sustainability efforts, with top priorities including increasing the number of women in management positions, working towards net-zero emissions in our operations, and working with our suppliers to continue to augment the mining industry\u2019s contribution to overall sustainability objectives.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hexagon\u2019s initiatives are aligned with the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals, the Responsible Business Alliance, and the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), showing our multi-faceted approach and commitment to sustainability. Additionally, we support our <\/span>customers<\/span><\/a> in their sustainability efforts through successful implementation of innovative life of mine solutions from the mine\u2019s planning stages to operational emissions reductions and beyond.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
